Reporting Problems on Public Lands


If you witness a wild bird or other wildlife being harrassed or threatened, there is a number you can call.

Types of problem behavior include the following:

  • approaching or otherwise disturbing nesting birds and their young;
  • cyclists riding off trails, traveling at unsafe speed, or on trails not designated for their use;
  • dogs off leash, harassing wildlife and/or on trails not designated for their use;
  • illegal hunting;
  • the use of a drone anywhere within a park or an open space land.
